The Crac'h River is an inlet that ends at the port of La Trinité sur Mer. It is bordered by woods, rocks and the bay of St Jean upstream. It is considered to be one of the most remarkable sites for the development of oysters, especially flat oysters. The presence of natural oyster beds where the essential mother oysters are found as well as the natural phenomenon of the tides constitute a perfect base for oyster farmers.
Oysters can be bought directly from most oyster farmers in the area, or from local markets, or of course can be enjoyed in many local restaurants!
