From the campsite, two zoos exist in Morbihan...
Many visible species, two different parks...
Animal Park of Branféré ›
To access this animal and botanical park, follow the direction of Le Guerno. Direction Nantes on the N165 then follow the signs (very numerous and very early on the main road). This park is perfectly integrated into its natural landscape environment of more than 40 Ha. From experience, the requirements for cleanliness of the site are important, which makes the site always clean, neat and pleasant from the first glance. It has many animal species and is, at least at first, rather flat. The complete tour of a zoo is sometimes sporting, so this is an important point. You will sometimes be in the middle of the walibis, to the delight of the children. The parcabout, accessible at no extra charge, is a set of canvases braided in height on which you can just pass or enjoy it as a trampoline. Adults and children alike can spend some time there knowing that this area is in the shade and not in full sunlight (to be recommended at the end of the course). The rates charged are the usual rates for a zoo... More information by clicking here
The Pont Scorff Zoo ›
To access this zoo, go to Lorient then Quimper. The Pont Scorff exit is indicated on the N165 and will allow you to reach Pont Scorff, a pretty Breton village and then the zoo. A very large number of species are presented in this impressive zoo due to its diversity of species presented. From the beginning the coast to enter the zoo may be surprising but it gets better afterwards! The shows on offer are magical: birds or sea lions from Patagonia. The zoo is located on 12 Ha and is therefore quite compact like many zoos. On site, the usual catering options are available. The proposed rates are the classic zoo rates.
