Responsible energy management
Reducing the impact of consumption
The campsite uses only 100% renewable bio-propane for several essential purposes. This energy is used to producedomestic hot water, power the kitchens and heat the swimming pools. In addition, photovoltaic panels are installed on site. The electricity produced is used for self-consumption, helping to limit the need for external resources.
Geothermal energy is also used to heat the swimming pool, contributing to more rational energy management. These technical choices reflect a desire to reduce the campsite’s energy footprint while ensuring the operation of the facilities required to welcome holidaymakers.

Preserving soil and biodiversity
Environmentally-friendly practices
The preservation of soil and biodiversity is an integral part of Camping Le Lac‘s environmental policy. No chemical weedkillers have been used on the site for over 10 years. Planting and landscaping renewals favor endemic plant species, adapted to the area and favorable to local biodiversity.
The campsite is based on an ecological management plan, drawn up in collaboration with Dervenn, a firm specializing in ecological management. As part of this plan, wetlands have been created to preserve the natural balance. The site is also recognized as an LPO Refuge, underlining the attention paid to the protection of birds and their habitat.
Raising awareness and everyday actions
Involving holidaymakers and staff
The campsite’s environmental approach also relies on the involvement of its guests. They are made aware of the need to consume water andelectricity responsibly, in order to limit waste. A selective waste sorting system is in place on site, complemented by a composting facility accessible to holidaymakers. These measures are designed to encourage simple, effective daily actions.
In addition, theuse of asphalt is reduced to preserve natural soils, and walking and cycling are encouraged within the campsite. Bicycles and electric bikes are available for hire, promoting environmentally-friendly mobility.
Accommodations designed to last
A sustainable approach to hospitality
Camping Le Lac’s accommodation is subject to a renewal policy that incorporates environmental criteria. The new accommodations are eco-designed and feature high-performance thermal insulation, contributing to better management of energy consumption.
The new mobile homes benefit from an extended lifespan and are manufactured in Brittany, a choice designed to limit the carbon footprint associated with their production. This approach is part of a long-term vision, reconciling tourism and respect for the environment, in keeping with the campsite’s identity and natural setting.
