A wildlife and botanical park
Observe animals in a natural setting
The Parc animalier de Branféré offers a tour of a vast landscaped area. The park is described as relatively flat over part of its length, especially at the beginning, which makes for an easy walk. Visitors can discover numerous animal species, integrated into a planted environment. Among them, wallabies are present and visually accessible, offering a welcome moment of observation. The park combines animal discovery and immersion in a natural setting, encouraging a calm and respectful approach to wildlife.
The animals are divided into thematic zones, allowing visitors to explore different regions of the world through their emblematic fauna. Visitors can see pink flamingos, red pandas and sacred ibises, each evolving in spaces adapted to their needs. The tour is punctuated by explanatory panels to help visitors better understand the particularities of each species. This educational approach is aimed at adults and children alike, and encourages a better understanding of the animal world. The botanical environment is equally well cared for, with century-old trees, water features and a wide variety of plants.

The Parcabout, an emblematic installation
An original experience at height
The park features an installation called the Parcabout, which is an integral part of the visit. It’s a set of woven canvases set high up in a shady area of the park. The parcabout is accessible to adults and children alike. It can be used as a passageway or as a trampoline, depending on your preferences. Access to the parcabout is included in the ticket, at no extra charge, and is a natural part of the visit.
This suspended structure offers a unique experience, as you walk, jump or lie several metres off the ground, among the trees. It offers an unparalleled view of the park, as well as safe, fun sensations. Safety nets encircle the whole area, ensuring a completely safe activity. It’s a popular place for families to relax and have fun together.
The parkabout is designed to respect the environment: no invasive fixings are used for the trees, and the materials chosen are sustainable. This original concept, devised by Breton sailors, contributes to the park’s unique identity and attracts many visitors every year.
