Accommodations at Camping Le Lac: mobile homes, travel trailers, and campsites

22–40 square meters, with a view of the water

We offer three types of accommodations on our site. Mobile homes make up the bulk of our rental options, with options suitable for couples as well as families of 5 or 6 people.

The trailer is our only unique lodging option. The bare campsites provide a comfortable setting for traditional campers.

All of our mobile homes have Breton names. “Ty” means “house” in Breton. It’s a simple way to connect our campground to the local area.

The pool is accessible to people with reduced mobility, to enable as many people as possible to enjoy it. The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard, which means that accompanying adults must be constantly vigilant.

Facilities and activities: heated pool, kayaking on the estuary, and a petting zoo

Water, nature, children

Our campground offers free-access facilities designed for active vacations without a set schedule. The pool, the ria, and the petting zoo are at the heart of the experience. Every family can find their own pace here.

Our outdoor pool is heated. The wading pool is reserved for toddlers. This is a swimming pool, not a water park. There are no slides and no supervised water activities. Just water at a comfortable temperature, available as soon as the season opens.

For a complete list of activities, please visit our Activities page.

The Crac’h estuary opens up right from our estate. The water is calm and salty, lined with reeds and bathed in Breton sunlight. You glide silently along this stretch of water, at your own pace, without a motor or crowds.

There are two routes available from our pier:

  • Toward the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer: sail up the estuary to the marina, the sailing capital of France. Allow about an hour, depending on your speed.
  • Toward the Baie des Anges: follow the estuary in the other direction, toward a more open stretch of water, for a more contemplative outing.

The calm waters of the estuary are suitable for all skill levels. This activity is open to children ages 8–10 and requires no prior training.

All children’s facilities are freely accessible. There is no organized kids’ club, and no registration is required. Your family can plan your stay however you like.

What your children will find there:

  • The mini-farm: goats, rabbits, and chickens to pet and watch every morning. A rare find at a 4-star campground.
  • The heated pool and the wading pool for toddlers
  • The “Airplane” Playground for Elementary School Children
  • The trampoline and bouncy castle for the little ones
  • Homeball Foot: a new play area set to open in 2025, perfect for teens and families

Pétanque courts, table tennis, billiards, and foosball round out the options for relaxing moments. Bike rentals let you explore the beaches and standing stones on two wheels.

La Trinité-sur-Mer and the surrounding area: what’s there to do from Camping Le Lac?

Sailing, standing stones, peninsula

Our campground in La Trinité-sur-Mer, just 10 minutes from the resort, is a natural starting point for exploring southern Brittany. The major attractions are nearby, and the distances are short. You can spend the morning at the beach, visit the menhirs in the late afternoon, and head to the harbor in the evening.

To help you plan your outings, the La Trinité-sur-Mer Tourist Office publishes information on local events and site visiting hours.

La Trinité-sur-Mer is the sailing capital of France. Every season, its marina welcomes hundreds of sailboats and some of the biggest names in offshore racing. The atmosphere here is distinctly nautical: ropes, white hulls, and the scent of salt and coffee on the waterfront terraces.

It’s about a ten-minute drive from our estate. Or you can reach it by kayak via the Crac’h estuary, arriving at the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer by water. The marina in La Trinité-sur-Mer is one of the most charming in Morbihan.

During the season, boat trips and introductory sailing lessons are available from the harbor. Check with local sailing clubs for more information.

The Carnac Menhirs, the Gulf of Morbihan, and the Quiberon Peninsula: Must-See Excursions

From our campground, all the major day trips in southern Brittany are within easy reach. Here are the distances and some useful landmarks:

GR34 (Customs Officers’ Trail): Accessible from La Trinité-sur-Mer, this coastal trail runs along the Morbihan coastline for dozens of kilometers.

The Carnac stone circles: a 10-minute drive or bike ride away (bikes available for rent on site). Visit early in the morning during the off-season to enjoy the site without the crowds. The Carnac megaliths are among the most significant in Europe.

Carnac Beaches: a 15-minute walk or bike ride away. Fine sand, lifeguards on duty during the season, and long, open stretches of beach.

Gulf of Morbihan: less than an hour’s drive away. Boat trips to Île aux Moines and Île d’Arz, offering inland sea landscapes unique to Brittany.

Quiberon Peninsula: less than an hour away. Rugged coastline to the west, sheltered beaches to the east, and a bustling fishing port.

Renting a bike through our website lets you reach the beaches and the standing stones without a car. The bike paths from Carnac are well marked.

To help you plan your outings, our Morbihan tourism page highlights the region’s must-see attractions. You’ll also find our selection of markets in La Trinité-sur-Mer for market mornings during the season.

What our holidaymakers say

Isma&Pascal

“Superb campsite!
We took a mobile home with a view of the lake, and it was top-notch! Very quiet place with a great view, relaxing.
The mobile home is new, perfect, very good size, very clean, sheets provided.
The terrace is very large, with table and chairs, a small lounge (the small table was missing) and 2 sun loungers (I would have preferred a chaise longue, but it was still very good) and what I like above all is that there are no neighbours when we’re on the terrace
And we had the visit of the little birds
The swimming pool, nothing to complain about
The staff, whether on the phone or on site, were perfect.

Very well located between Carnac and La Trinité sur Mer

One thing’s for sure…. We’ll be back, it was the best of the best ”

“We had the most incredible view of the water from our terrace! When we arrived we instantly felt at home as the accommodation was spotless and the hot water was boiling 😊 The shower had plenty of power and was nice to shower in. The beds were comfortable and some bed linen was provided. The deck had loungers, dining set, and lounge set, some with cushions. The staff were extremely accommodating. The dishwasher was quiet and the blinds meant complete darkness. The location is good and easily accessible and very quiet at night. The other holidaymakers were friendly and everyone greeted each other with “Hello”. There’s a pool which was spotless too with sun loungers. The location is superb allowing easy exploration of Vannes, Auray, Carnac, and the islands. Our week here was so good that we will definitely be back. Thank you Le Lac Camping we had a wonderful time with you. See you soon!”
